MY INSPIRATION FOR THE CIVIC PULSE INITIATIVE

From a very young age, I have been passionate about catching them young—because I strongly believe that training and guidance are the foundation of raising a child. In today’s society, many parents, due to the harsh realities of life, no longer have the time to properly nurture their children. Sadly, this has left many young people to train themselves, often seeking direction from negative groups that promise an easier life.

This is how many of our youths fall into destructive paths such as cybercrime (“yahoo yahoo”), cultism, kidnapping, and other vices that not only destroy lives but also make our environment unsafe for businesses, investments, and tourism.

My journey began when I joined hands with Stanley Chukwuebuka in the fight against cybercrime. Together, we provided scholarships and opportunities to redirect young people toward brighter futures. Beyond that, I have been privileged to lead several initiatives and platforms that promote values, creativity, and security. As the CEO of Africa Industry Awards and Indigenous Royal Awards, I convened The Indigenous Royal Security and Development Summit. Through Fun and Fashion International Magazine and TV, I have also organized the Nigeria Fashion Legends Awards and many other programs aimed at celebrating talent and inspiring the youth.

My philosophy is simple: prevention is better than cure. Rather than waiting for society to be consumed by crime, I choose to work hand in hand with government, organizations, and security agencies to create awareness programs that empower and redirect our youths from negative lifestyles into legitimate and productive ventures.

The Civic Pulse Initiative was born out of this conviction—to train, empower, and guide young people towards a future of responsibility, purpose, and greatness. I deeply appreciate everyone who has welcomed and supported this vision, and I look forward to building safer, brighter communities together.
